The Jesse H. Jones School of Business MBA ETS Exit Exam is designed to assess students’ ability to demonstrate knowledge of business content areas (marketing, management, finance, and managerial account) and strategic integration skills, as well as measure critical thinking ability.
Taking the Exam
MBA students must take the exit exam during their semester of graduation. It is suggested that students review sample test questions provided below:
The Student Accessibility Services Office at Texas Southern University is committed to providing an accessible and supportive environment for students with disabilities. The Student Accessibility Services Office and the Jesse H. Jones School of Business work collaboratively to ensure that students are provided with appropriate accommodations to fulfill the MBA ETS Exit Exam requirement.
To request accommodations for a disability, students must visit the Disability Services website as soon as possible to register by following the 5-Step Process for Accessing Accommodations Services. Note: Approximately 4-6 weeks is required for processing upon the submission of a complete file. Students must present an accommodations letter to Dr. Zahid Iqbal, Associate Dean for Accreditation and Assessment, two-weeks prior to testing.
and MMIS students are not required to take the ETS Exit Exam).
The MBA ETS Exit Exam is a 124-multiple choice question test that is administered online with Windows 7 and Mac OSX 10.11 compatibility. Test scores are reported on a scale of 220-300. Testing time required for the MBA ETS Exit Exam is 3 hours, in addition to 30 minutes for logon, test area checks, and testing instructions.

Registering for the Exam
Graduating MBA students will be notified via email when registration opens. Students will complete the registration form below to sign-up for an MBA ETS Exit Exam testing date/time. Exams are administered every Fall, Spring, and Summer semester. If a student expected to complete graduation requirements earlier and has already been tested, the student does not have to register to test again.
