TSU’s Grand Tiger Parade comes home

Texas Southern University will observe its annual Homecoming Celebration Sunday, October 16 through Saturday, October 22. The highlight of the week’s activities will be the Grand Tiger Parade and its long-awaited return to the TSU community.

It’s time to strike up the bands and decorate floats, cars, trucks and vans. Make plans now to secure your spot along the route and prepare to witness magnificent precision marching and walking units, colorful floats, and drill teams from every corner of Houston.

The parade starts on Saturday, October 22 at 10 a.m. The route begins at Burkett and Cleburne streets, travels up Cleburne to Almeda, turns left on Almeda to Blodgett, turns left on Blodgett and ends on Tierwester Street.
